aeco ARP-1533 - RCA plug (pure silver)
aeco ARP-1533 is a set of high-quality RCA plugs from the Taiwanese company, which are distinguished by stylish design and knockout workmanship. They are based on a conductor of pure silver (99.9%). Thanks to aeco's unique design, the plugs spot-drain mass from the surface of the socket, their conductive elements can be removed from the fiberglass-reinforced nylon body for easy soldering, and a phosphor bronze ring guarantees a secure connection to the socket. The ARP-1533s have sleek stainless steel housings with laser-applied logos to match.
Key features:
- a set of four RCA plugs (2 with white markings, 2 with red markings) in a vacuum pack;
- conductor made of pure silver;
- special conductor design for point ground dissipation from the socket surface (not coaxial);
- conductor elements can be removed for easier soldering;
- two-piece body made of glass-reinforced nylon;
- phosphor bronze ring for a more stable connection to the socket;
- POM plastic reduction and two sets of screws (8 x 3 mm and 8 x 4 mm) for wires of different diameters;
- screwed stainless steel housing with laser-embossed company logo;
- possibility to disassemble the plug into its first components (easy recycling).
Unique plug design
The aeco RCA plugs of the ARP-1533 line feature a unique design that allows them to be disassembled into their first components. The two-piece bodies can be disassembled to remove the conductive elements for easier soldering. The company has dispensed with concentric conductors - ground dissipation from the surface of the socket is point-to-point, which improves sound quality. ARP-1533 plugs additionally have a ring that stiffens them in the socket, screw-on housings for the threaded body, and a reduction that attaches with two screws.
Made of the highest quality materials
ARP-1533 - like other aeco solutions - is based on top-grade materials. The conductive elements are made of pure silver. The body, which insulates them from the stainless steel housing, is made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon. The reduction is prepared from special POM plastic, and the screws for attaching the cable are made of stainless steel.
Instructions for installation of plugs
- Remove the insulation to expose the section of the cable to be soldered;
- for cables up to 9 mm in diameter, a reduction (6) can be applied before applying the housing (item 5 in the diagram). For cables up to 11.5 mm in diameter, apply the housing itself (5);
- solder the appropriate wire to the positive “+” conductor (center pin - 3) and negative “-” conductor (ground pin - 4);
- if the conductors were removed from the body before soldering, to assemble them, put the central pin (3), ground pin (4) and retaining ring (2) on the lower part of the body (12), and then close it with the upper part of the body (11);
- screw the housing onto the threaded body;
- the cable should be stiffened in the plug with two screws of 4 mm (72) when using a reduction or 3 mm (71) without reduction.
