The Neotech NECE-3001 MKIII is a headset and IEM cable with 4 multi-stranded Litz UP-OCC copper conductors. Each conductor is insulated with a transparent PVC jacket.
Litz wire is a conductor with each strand electrically insulated by a polyurethane coating. This reduces the impact of the skin effect, i.e. a current that flows only on the surface of the conductor at high frequencies, as well as the proximity effect that increases resistivity. Such a design is particularly suitable for audio use as it improves the conductivity and limits the resistivity of the cable, resulting in excellent audio reproduction.
